Licensing your
Control
Licensing .NET win HTML Editor Control is very easy.
You will not need to install License Key to every instances in the same Form once
you have installed your License Key in any instance of the Form. But in your application, if you have other Forms using this control, you should install License Key at least
in one instance of the control in those Forms.
** Please note : When you provide a valid LicenseKey, the Demo Version Signature (Purchase Link)
will be dismissed for the licensing instance but the other instances may show
the Demo Version Signature. However, they will be gone when you close the form and reopen it.
Finally :: The License validation script will be run only once in the whole application
life cycle and the validation result will be stored in the Application Cache, so
when your application encounters a licensed instance of this control in a Form,
all other instances of the same Form or different Forms won't be candidate for license
validation. Thus the performance matter of this control is considered with the highest
priority.
Please follow the following screen shots to learn about licensing this control
within Visual Studio design mode
Step 1: Select the editor and click on the right corner smart tag button. this will pop up the
smart tag. From there select License key.
Step 2: Enter the License key in the License key Window
Step 3: If a valid key is entered you will be notified immediately.
There could be 3 reasons why your License Key is evaluated as 'INVALID'
- Either your license key is really not a valid key received from SpiceLogic.
- You have purchased a License Key recently but you downloaded the trial version from a 3rd party website.
So, your trial version is not the up-to-date version. Your new License Key will work only with the latest version
of this product. So, please download the latest version from our website.
- You have purchased the License key a while ago and now you have recenly downloaded the latest version
of this software product. The latest version will take new License Key. If you have purchased your License
within 1 year, then you are elligible to get a FREE upgrade. Please visit the License Key Upgrade Page
